Coldwell Banker High End Expired Listings Program

Coldwell Banker recently appointed Mike Murray as its new Senior Vice President. Murray was extremely successful in the California, New York, and Connecticut real estate markets. The main reason was that he was able to teach his offices how to sell homes that couldn't sell (expired listing homes) in the high end market. The high end market is usually referred to as homes listed for sale in the top 5% price range.

Mike Murray created the Coldwell Banker High End Listings Program on June 20th of this year to work directly with 19 agents from both Miami-Dade and Broward County to work with him directly to sell these high end homes that didn't sell. He chose agents that he felt worked best with difficult to sell homes. In an earlier post, I mentioned that I was one of the nineteen agents selected to participate in Coldwell Banker High End Expired Listings Program. It's a very big honor for me because there are thousands of Coldwell Banker agents in these two counties, and in case you are unaware, Coldwell Banker sells the most homes in South Florida.

There are hundreds of homes every year that are in this high end market that don't sell, and their listing expires. Every day these homes are analyzed and the homes that have the best possible chance of selling are added to the Coldwell Banker High End Listings Program. The owners are notified of the good news via mail and asked whether they would like to have their home enrolled in the program and listed for sale. The vast majority of people take advantage of this opportunity. The few that don't, usually have gone thru changes in their life that make moving or selling their home not an option any more. After the home is enrolled, the Realtor will work directly with Mr Murray to get the home sold as fast as possible for the highest price possible.
